I'm an extreme minimalist. I'm always broke because all my money goes into a fixer upper. But I'm so depressed cause all my money is going into my dad's home. I'm never thinked for it. Actually the opposite. I have my basic needs but I'm not happy. No running water so I have to do dishes with rain water. Only person in the house that cooks or does any shopping. I cant leave or my dad and grandma will be fucked. But I cant take the stress of secrafising my life and knowing what I could have for my families benefit and I get no appreciation… I dont know. I wish minimalism worked for me. Sure it would if I was in a different life.

Learn to live with defects. Don't throw away an item with small defects just to buy a new item. People have defects too, you may throw away others. Will you throw away yourself since you have defects as well?

I think people don't understand sometimes how powerful it is to be able to share a financial goal or financial perspective with others. It creates buy in, but unfortunately like the video mentions it is taboo

We live in a system of debt slavery. Your television is designed to make you stupid, materialistic, insecure and broke. Smash it with a hammer.

1. Calculate your monthly budget.
2. Set up standing orders to transfer the excess money you make from your current account to suitable investment accounts after payday each month.
3. You don't spend that money because as soon as you're paid it, it's invested. Live off what you've left in your account, which will match your living budget.

I do this and I save >40% of my salary each month as a result. I can't spend that money because as soon as I earn it, it's gone.
