Japan has invented nothing, and copied everything. They copy something created someplace else, change few elements, and then popularize it to the world as their own invention. … Most Japanese have forgotten that most of the wealth Japan was able to amass during their economic bubble was not earned through legal means.

All those DJ are right I use to made my own mix tape by using my vinyl records n put it on a tape mix tape out of record n take it the the street with my boombox back then in the 80s n 90s it was cool

Probably the one of the most comprehensive documentaries about turn table and walkman on Youtube. Very impressive.

44 minutes of talking about turntables and walkmans, tons of people, DJs, and there is no single decent-length set of a DJ doing scratching, changing vinyls, speed-adjust, etc. Are you for real? I don't care about fancy graphic intertitles, show me the actual stuff how the products were used, what all these heads are talking about. For inspiration how to make a doc about music or music-related products watch 1984 documentary "Rock'n'Roll – The Early Days", it has complete songs, granted they were short back then.
